CAGE MATCH Round 6: Snake Eyes (1998) vs. National Treasure: Book Of Secrets (2007)

It's Monday and that means it is time for a CAGE MATCH! Join us for our weekly celebration of the filmography of Nicolas Kim Coppola, a.k.a. Nicolas Cage. We are pitting 16 Cage films against one another in an effort to determine which performance is the CAGIEST! This week's contestants are 1998's Brian DePalma directed thriller SNAKE EYES and 2007's NATIONAL TREASURE: BOOK OF SECRETS. Two films will enter the dojo, but only one will leave victorious! Pour yourself a cup of coffee, put your feet up and get ready to howl at the moon! 

Friday The 13th Part VI: Jason Lives (1986)

It's Friday the 13th and we have a special Friday edition of The Late Night Fright for you! In honor of this most unluckiest of days we are looking back at 1986's FRIDAY THE 13TH PART VI: JASON LIVES! This film is consistently voted one of the top films in the franchise and for good reason because this one's got it all: a Universal monster vibe, a wonderful self referential sense of humor and awesomely fun and creative kills! Pour yourself a cup of coffee, put your feet up and get ready to howl at the moon with Dan and Faith! See you there! 

Dracula (1931)

It's Wednesday and that means it is time for horror movies and tonight we have one of the absolute classics in the genre, Universal's 1931 monster movie classic DRACULA starring the one and only Bela Lugosi as the world's most famous vampire and Edward Van Sloan as his arch nemesis Van Helsing. Along with Dan and Faith's take on the first supernatural film of the talking era of film, there's a new piece of music called "Dracula" from Weird Guy and a fun little segment at the end of the episode that needs to be heard to be believed! Pour yourself a cup of coffee, put your feet up and get ready to howl at the moon. It's time for THE LATE NIGHT FRIGHT!

Mr. Boogedy (1986)

BOOGEDY BOOGEDY BOO! Join us as we take a look back at the 1986 family/horror television movie MR. BOOGEDY from Walt Disney. Is this Disney's attempt at a family friendly Freddy Krueger film? And what exactly happened to Casper the Friendly Ghost? And what is his endgame? We just might have some answers! Make sure to tune in because this is a fun one!!!

CAGE MATCH Round 5: Raising Arizona (1987) vs. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance (2012)

The Late Night Fright continues its celebration of the filmography of Nicolas Kim Coppola, a.k.a. Nicolas Cage, a.k.a. Nic Cage, a.k.a. The Cage. Sixteen films have been pitted against each other tournament style to determine which is the CAGIEST. Two movies enter...one movie leaves. Vampire's Kiss (1988), Face/Off (1997), Mandy (2018) and Peggy Sue Got Married (1986) have moved on to round two. This week pits the Coen Brothers' RAISING ARIZONA from 1987 against 2012's GHOST RIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE. The categories include overall film, hair, voice, face, and the Cage factor, that undefinable thing that makes the Cage the Cage. Tune in to find out which film will move on and have a chance to be voted the CAGIEST! 

Friday the 13th (1980)

Join us as we take a look back at one of the classics in the slasher canon, 1980's FRIDAY THE 13TH directed by Sean S. Cunningham! This film features a mother only a slasher icon could love, Betsy Palmer as PAMELA VOORHEES, mother of that hockey goalie from hell, Jason Voorhees! There's POV camera work, a little bit of a Scooby Doo mystery as to who the killer is, murder, nudity, a rainstorm, a full moon, more murder and denim short shorts! We introduce a new segment, THE LORDS OF HORROR! The Lords of Horror demand sacrifice to quench their blood thirst...does this movie deliver? Tune in to find out! STINE and features a rather dark, twisted and Lynchian ending that neither of your intrepid hosts saw coming! It's a lot of fun and we even have a surprise caller at the end of the episode, a former president of these here United States and self professed fan of Goosebumps (HINT: they do everything bigger in Texas)! CAGE MATCH Round 4: Con Air (1997) vs. Peggy Sue Got Married (1986)

It's just another Cage Match Monday! THE LATE NIGHT FRIGHT continues its celebration of the filmography of Nicolas Kim Coppola, aka Nicolas Cage, aka, Nic Cage, aka THE CAGE, in an attempt to determine (using a highly scientific method) which performance is the CAGIEST.

We have two worthy opponents in the cage this week: the classic 1997 action film CON AIR starring Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and John Malkovich, and the sweet 1986 comedy PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED starring Kathleen Turner and Nicolas Cage. Two movies. Two completely different performance. Only one will be voted the CAGIEST.  

CON AIR has the long hair and the Alabama accent. It also has a lot of explosions. PEGGY SUE GOT MARRIED has the pompadour and the Pokey nasal fry. Who will emerge victorious? Tune in to find out! 

War Of The Worlds (2005)

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for horror movies! This week we're taking a look back at the 2005 sci-fi disaster flick WAR OF THE WORLDS directed by Steven Spielberg and starring the one and only TC, Tom Cruise! There's family drama! Alien invaders! Fire! Morgan Freeman narration! This one's got it all! Tune in to find out what we think about it...if the tripods don't get you first! 

Star Trek: Space Seed (1967)

It's Tuesday and that means it's time to take a look back at some classic television and have we got a good one for you this week. Join us as we discuss SPACE SEED, the classic STAR TREK episode that introduced the world to the villain Khan Noonien Singh played by the one and only Ricardo Montalban! This is the episode that planted the seed (see what we did there?) for the classic 1982 film THE WRATH OF KHAN!
